Thankfully the title of the article doesn’t mean developers “directly” but the companies that make the software. This could go down a dangerous path (one doctors are on now). Right now “developers” do want to do a good job, but the pressure to get features “out the door” is very high. So, if we can start sueing companies for bad software, the good side is that the companies will try to shore things up. Down side, things like google apps may die off since the individual developer will not beable to afford lawyers to keep lawsuit happy people away. And the release of software will slow to a crawl. Want a new app….that will be 2 years.
