Things to make from syringes
I like option 2, a dart gun. http://lifehacker.com/craft-a-diy-food-slicer-out-of-a-plastic-syringe-1768066411
Turn pallets into toolboxes
This is the first time I have seen a more practical use for pallet wood. I know alot of folks take pallets and use them to build all sorts of stuff. But Most of the time..I would rather buy decent … Continue reading
Build a simple varable power supply
Nice build. Looks to run aroudn $50 in parts and a 3D printed out front panel. http://www.instructables.com/id/Handy-Power-Supply/
A cheap(ish) weather station
Nice build. Maybe $50 total in parts. Heck alot cheaper than commercial builds out there. http://www.instructables.com/id/Weather-Station-5/
Simple sand blocks
Yes this is on my build list. I have been “stapling” sandpaper to blocks of wood. This is soooo much nicer. And the use of packaging pad to pad the bottom is a good idea. http://www.instructables.com/id/Quick-and-Easy-Sanding-Block/
Make a homemade glue gun
OK if I am desparate, this is a quick build for a glue gun.
A self propelled track saw
Oh I so want one of these. I have a feeling it will be way out of my range…maybe I can build one. http://gizmodo.com/this-self-propelled-circular-saw-keeps-your-fingers-com-1766858201
Another simple cheap tool, Painters Pyramids
Bottle caps, old screws, and some glue and bang, you have simple small painter pyramids. http://www.instructables.com/id/Cheap-and-Easy-Painters-Pyramidsdrying-Stands/
Build a center hole maker on the cheap
I like this build. The author uses the bearing from a old harddrive for the bit to go into, and attaches the bit to the tool with a magnet on the side. What would have been really cool is if … Continue reading
Build a pen blank jig
Nice jig so you can make that center hole for the pen. http://www.instructables.com/id/Pen-Blank-Drilling-Jig/
