Nice write-up on adding a panel to a grinder to make it into a table saw and circular saw combo
Author only did it in a PDF file for directions for some reason. Click to access agts.pdf
Convert a lighter to be an extension fire starter
Nice build on converting a lighter to use a plugger to start flame from a bit farther away (and not burn yourself). http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Gas-Igniter-Best-Recycle-Idea/
Cool circle cutter with a grinder
Been seeing alot of nice homebrew builds with cheap grinders. This is the first circle cutter thought. This could be a good way to make a saw blade for wood. Simple Jig Uses Electromagnet For Clean Angle Grinder Cuts
Interesting mini lathe build
This is an interesting build. I like the plexi glass look, but I question the durability of it. Anyways I also like the use of the aluminum rails (instead of making ones out of wood). This could be a nice … Continue reading
Simple hack to clean out the oil valve on a chainsaw
Not a bad idea. basically you add a hole to the cap that you use when needed to blow the system out. http://www.instructables.com/id/Fixing-Chainsaw-Bar-Oil-Problem-With-Air-Compresso/
Nice knife making jig
Pretty nice build. Me…Not so sure I would put all that effort into this. https://makezine.com/2018/06/12/graz-makes-knife-bevel-grinding-jig/ https://nofile.io/f/PKE61CG48UY/graz+grinder+blueprints%21.pdf
Walnut collector
If you have a walnut tree, this is a worthwhile build. The author basically build a simple tube to stick over a walnut and capture it. So he didn’t need to bend over constantly. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/backbone-saver-walnut-collecting-tool-65610?homelistings#post104760
Convert a cheap drillpress into a lathe
This seems like alot of work for something you can get for $100 at HF. Nice build thought, if you have time and the materials…oh and a welder, it could be worth making. http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/homemade-woodworking-lathe-column-drill-65747?homelistings#post105238
One fancy smoke remover
It looks like they are using a car filter with this one. Its a nice looking build (overkill for a solder setup, but if you are doing metalworking…). http://www.homemadetools.net/forum/smoke-eater-air-cleaner-bench-67796?homelistings#post111641
Nice portable bandsaw holder
This is a nice build, It turns a portable bandsaw into one that can be a vertical one with a table. I like how portable the table is too (can attach to a workmate). Oh there is a board under … Continue reading
