Fuji Xerox getting into 3D printing

This has to be one of the first 2D printing companies I have heard of getting into 3D printing (yeah I know Xerox has the circuit printing bit).  Xerox I believe has a 25% stake in Fuji Xerox.  Overall I have been shocked the bid 2D printing companies have not moved into this business yet.
