This gives me some good ideas for a staff

The author hollowed out and cut a log to put LED’s in it.  Looks nice and I could see this build going into a “staff”. https://www.instructables.com/id/Segmented-Log-Lamp/

Make your own wheels for a robot, or R/C car

Interesting build…me…if I was in a pinch I think this would be a great idea.  But… You can get wheels pretty cheap on ebay.  Or cheap casters at Harbor Fieght and then take them apart. https://www.instructables.com/id/Home-made-Robot-Wheel/

Homemade vacuum clamp

I got a kick out of this one, the author built it with toilet parts. https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Vacuum-Clamp-With-Toilet-Parts-My-Best-Shop-Ji/

Another simple rock tumbler build

Been toying with making one of these myself.  Mostly to remove rust on objects without me needing to sand them.  Only downside I see to tumblers is the medium you need to buy to put in it. https://www.instructables.com/id/Rock-Tumbler-2/

Make your own vacuum cleaner

I had to laugh at this one.  Pretty simple build and concept.  Not so sure how practical it is but could be a good experiment to do with kids. https://www.instructables.com/id/How-to-Make-Vacuum-Cleaner-2/

Interesting solar heater

The author took the cooling grids off old fridges and combined a bunch together to heat up water.  That “heated” water then has a coil inside a water tank to transfer the heat too.  Which is a good idea since … Continue reading

Pretty impressive build, wind powered pump to scuba dive with

Not so sure I would be brave enough to trust this thing.  But a clever build overall Breathing Underwater Using Wind Power

Interesting concrete build

The author did a nice write up on using concrete overall for making decorations.  He 3D printed the “Frame” to use to hold the concrete in its form.  It looks like the mold is re-usable too. https://www.instructables.com/id/3D-Printed-Concrete-Table-Mold/

Make a folding crossbow

Nice build, not so sure I would do it myself since there is a lot of work involved. https://www.instructables.com/id/Making-a-Folding-Crossbow/

One fancy slingshot build

Pretty impressive one.  The author provides templates so you can cut one out yourself.  Or….maybe convert to cut on a CNC? https://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-SlingBow-From-Plywood/
