The best cheap router is…

TP-Link TL-WDR3600 according to this article.  It looks like it supports DD-WRT, and has dual band support.  Runs around 55-60 bucks. http://www.engadget.com/2015/03/27/wirecutter-the-best-wifi-router-for-most-people/?ncid=rss_truncated

Cool RPi weather station

I like the RPi build for this weather station, only thing….I wonder if the solar cell in the project is enough to recharge the battery to keep the RPi running.  Guess time will tell. http://www.instructables.com/id/Raspberry-Pi-Solar-Weather-Station/

Nice PVC build to hold batteries

I like this design for PVC pipe to hold a bunch of batteries.  The author is a little light on sizes he ended up using.  Also I think I would use different bits for the ends. http://www.instructables.com/id/PVC-tube-battery-AA-battery-holder/

Build a shaking cleaner for bike chains

Interesting build where the author basically uses a motor to “shake” a container with a bike chain and cleaner to clean it up.  My 2 cents, you could use this for other things to shake as well. http://hackaday.com/2015/04/15/diy-automatic-chain-cleaning-machine/
