Nice hide away desk that doubles as a picture frame.

Nice build that doubles as a picture frame when put up.  Only thing I would worry about is the legs in the down position need more support, and scuffing of the backboard. http://www.ikeahackers.net/2016/11/office-spacesaver-unit-faux-picture-frame.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+Ikeahacker+%28ikeahacker%29

A portable hottub

This is a nice CNC based build.  The author at the end says you could get away with 5/8s, maybe 1/2 inch plywood instead.  I personally like the water heater he used that is propane based and only $100.  I … Continue reading

RPi Clones

New version of the Orange Pi boards are out.  They are cheaper than Raspberry Pi’s, but…. Support could be iffy.  Not a big community behind them too.  I’ll stick to the RPis myself. Orange Pi Releases Two Boards

Make your own cheap Parabolic Mirrors

Stumbled on this on hack a day,  The first mirror is easier to make, but …it depends on air pressure (lack off) to keep its shape and could leak out.  The second one is a bit more involved in building, … Continue reading

Hide your own Homebrewed Stingray in a printer

The author uses a RaspberryPi with some antennas and hides the setup within a HP printer to act as a mini cell tower and sniff in on the traffic.  Pretty clever build. http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/11/02/printer_spy_box/
